black or brown mascara? which do u go for?

I got the new Fenty brown mascara in PR and I wanted to test for myself the difference in the shades just to see how they differ! I always choose black mascara when I’m doing my makeup because I like how it makes my eyes pop buttttt I can definitely see the allure of brown mascara for a softer look.. this mascara is already in my top 5 so having a brown option is nice!!

how do we feel about lip stains??

Honesty I’m not sure about them yet lol.. I like that they are usually long wearing and this one didn’t transfer that much! BUT I find that they show every line/dry skin if you don’t exfoliate beforehand (and I did not)! I ended up doing 2 layers and letting them dry in between so that the lip color would be more even. I think lip stains are perfect for the summer so you don’t have to reapply your lip while you’re out all day on vacation etc 🩷

This combo I did is such a pretty shade for that traditional ‘bitten’ lip stain look, but let me know some other lip stain brands I should try!

my go-to ‘nude pink’ lip combo 💫

When I want a nude lip, I’ve been gravitating more toward this pink combo even though I know it’s not your typical nude 😅 I lovvvve the warm/orange undertones in this lip because it gives a fresh, awake look that would otherwise be understated by a cool undertone pink.. if you have warm tones in your skin I highly recommend going for warmer shades because it brings out all of the beautiful tones in your skin!

Also this liquid lipstick formula is super thin in a good way so even if it fades throughout the day, it doesn’t look as obvious as a thicker lipstick would. It also layers super nice where you can’t see the obvious layers of lipstick! It’s been my most favorite nude ☺️
