It’s that time again 😉 this is what I do to my the color of my hair:

Step 1: Section hair into 4 sections
Step 2: Mix together 2 boxes of ION Hi Lift Ash Blonde Permanent Liquid Hair Color and 8oz of 30 volume sensitive scalp developer
Step 3: Add to roots
Step 4: Let sit for 1 hour
Step 5: Shampoo & condition
Step 6: Style

my ‘no fuss’ morning hair routine is superrrr fast and easy… it’s 2 steps

I use some sort of leave in spray to wake up my curls, BUT I ONLY do this if it’s day 3 or 4 of my style because at that point I’m not usually worried about shrinkage because it’s already happened at that point lol. Then, I use either a curl cream, leave in cream or bond-building cream (some sort of hair cream for my texture) and an oil (optional) and work it into my fro for moisture and whatever else the product may claim to do🤎

pattern vs the revair.. tap here for my thoughts☺️

These are my general thoughts on the 2, hopefully I didn’t forget anything.. Ultimately I like both for different reasons depending on my goal for my hairstyle for the day🫶🏽

RevAir pros:
- Gets my hair the straightest/most stretched between the 2
- Really fast when blow drying my hair
- Its not directly blowing hot air on me so I don’t sweat when blow drying my hair with this one lol
- Only gets up to 220° and claims NO heat damage
RevAir cons:
- A bit bulky to both store it when not in use and when using it
- It’s loud lol but I’m not 100% sure if it’s louder than a regular blow dryer

Pattern blow dryer pros:
- Provides traditional blow drying results
- Has 4 attachments, so I can use it for stretching my hair, diffusing, etc
- Designed specifically for curly coily hair
- Curl-conscious heat (doesn’t say exact temperature it gets when I checked at the time of this video)
Pattern blow drying cons:
- Doesn’t get my hair as straight compared to RevAir
- The attachments come off easily if you make a mistake and press the locking button when blow drying… however that may be a me problem 🙃

Fro or high puff? For my fro, it actually was an old twist out so all I needed to do was fluff it out💕 I had to do justtttt a bit more for the high puff😅 See below for products used!

wash days are my favorite 🥰 🚿 🤎 I usually wash my hair every week - week and a half just depending! It allows me to try new hair products on my natural hair or do a treatment such as the one I used from Redken. Highly recommend if you’re trying to grow your hair!!

Deep conditioner, conditioner or BOTH? 🤔

Tbh I usually just forgo regular conditioner when I know I want to deep condition. I’m all about getting in and out on wash day but still being mindful and specific when shampooing conditioning etc so that’s why I like to do one or the other BUT I really wanted to try this conditioner from @tphbytaraji and deep conditioner from @shuuemura_artofhair and I thought hey let’s do it lol…

I recently was invited to get my hair done at an Aveda salon in South Florida! Legit perfect timing lol as I was going out of town the next day for the speaking engagement at Yale I told you all about☺️ The hair appointment was at Drew James Salon (tagged on my IG Reel) & of course everything used was from Aveda! I use Aveda a lot so it was really nice to have products used on my hair that I use all the time! I got a hot oil treatment, shampoo, condition, and style (twist out) 💚

Products/tools from most recent blow dry! The RevAir is my favvvvorite blow dryer for getting my hair straight.. highly recommend. The 2-in-1 comb from Tangle Teezer is amazing because you don’t have to switch tools which makes styling faster😍 It was my first time using the Blow-out Creme from SEEN. and I believe it was a bit too thin for my hair type but it did protect my hair from the heat!
