Her little “big girl” glow up 🥹💕 When I started refreshing her room, I had to remind myself that this wasn’t about creating the perfect Pinterest aesthetic. It was about protecting the essence of who she is.

She’s colorful. She’s curious. She’s a reader. She builds Pokémon Legos and tapes Post-it notes to her wall. I didn’t want to erase that in exchange for something trendy or “perfect.” I just wanted to elevate what was already there.

So we kept the joy. We kept the books. We kept the personality. We just made a little more room for her to keep growing into it✨

Her room should feel like her safe place- not a showroom. And I’m so proud of how it still feels completely, unapologetically Valerie.

My office doubled as a guest room! When I purchased my home I knew I didn’t want to designate a room as a guest bedroom because it’s a waste of space imo (especially considering I have a few overnight guests a year 😂). SO I had to get creative! I ordered this pull-out sofa which is surprisingly super comfortable 🙌🏾 and it’s worked like a charm! I also love to add a bit of decor to make it feel warm and cozy without overdoing it! Definitely a MUCH simpler (and more useful) option for having guests!

When I first walked into the model home of this floor plan- I IMMEDIATELY fell in love. I loved the openness, the size, the high ceilings, the “tucked away” kitchen, the large windows and natural light… I loved everything about it, but I knew I had to do something with that blank wall. I LOVE a cozy home so a fireplace was a requirement for me (I literally use it year round 😆). I told my designer @eliriahinteriors that I wanted to add a fireplace and she brought my vision to life!

I am still in awe of how my silly little idea turned into THIS! Turning on the fireplace and lighting a candle after a long day of work is the highlight of my evening. And the black marble shelving, Roman clay and decor makes it feel even more like HOME. I really love it here 🤎

Slowly but surely my daughters playroom is coming together! The idea here is neutral, with pops of color! Since this room doubles as our pizza night/movie night room- I wanted this room to be playful, yet still comfortable and cozy! I LOVE how everything is coming together 🥰
