While olive green might be considered more of a fall color, I love adding it to my wardrobe throughout the year. I found this beautiful maxi shirt dress from Tuckernuck during a sale a few months back, and I was already thinking of pairing it with a vintage belt from my mom, and my favorite pair of Sarah Flint’s. There’s just something about shirt dresses that makes me feel nostalgic. My mom who has always had a sense of style I aspire to, wore quite a few shirt dresses when I was growing up in California. One of the dresses with a beautiful shade of pink, and I’m reminded of those days of spending hours in shopping malls from San Diego to Los Angeles with treats like my favorite snickerdoodle cookies, Sunday morning brunches with massive bran muffins, picking out books at the White Rabbit and trips to the beach only five minutes away from where we lived in La Jolla. . .
