If you are a woman over 40 with dry and mature skin, cream blush is your best friend! It melts into our skin going you a lovely natural flush and is so flattering.

Powder blush can sit on top of your skin and can make emphasize dry skin and make it look flat!

My top tip for applying blush is to remember what I call the 3 finger rule!
Place 3 fingers next to your nose and do not apply any blush there.

Apply blush in an upward motion and blend out! Do you see how it visually lifts your entire face? Such an easy tip!

Before I get started, I want to clarify….do Instill use eyeliner pencils? Yes, I do. It depends on my mood and the look I am going for !

BUT…..if you are a woman over 40
who struggles to get her eyeliner to look right, I encourage you to try this technique.

Here’s how & why👇👇👇

❌Most pencils are wax based. What happens to wax when it gets warm? It melts! Raccoon eyes for days!

✅If you are constantly dealing with smudged eyeliner try a gel based liner like this one instead!

❌ Stop pulling at your eyes. If you have tugged at your eye to apply a pencil then you know it is really hard to get it to look right! It is too thick, uneven…it’s a struggle!

✅ Instead use a brush like this to stamp the gel liner onto your lash line while your eyes are at rest in their natural state! Start at the outer corner and work@your way in!

✨This will create the illusion of a thicker and fuller lashline instead of looking like you are wearing eyeliner. Add mascara for maximum impact!

⭐️ Line your lash line with black gel liner.
Make sure to keep it thin.

⭐️ Apply lots of mascara from base to

Calling all women over 40 who want to simplify their makeup routine and declutter their makeup bag!!!

It’s time to ditch all of your lipliners…..except for one!

The ONLY lipliner you need is a nude beige that closely matches the color of your lips!

❌ You don’t need a matching lipliner for every lipstick you own. That is just something the makeup industry tells you to do to get more of your money!

✅Yes, even with a bold lip such as a pink or a red, the only liner I use on myself and on clients is one that matches your own lip color. It will provide a much more soft and natural look and you will avoid that dreaded lipliner outline once your lipstick fades.

✅ Keep your lips in their natural and rested state when applying lipliner. Don’t pull a face!!! How are you able to see your natural lip shape otherwise

✅ Last but not least, apply your lipliner AFTER lipstick for the most natural finish, using short feathery strokes. It will give you the most natural look and you will avoid the dreaded lipliner outline.
