SHORTS IN ORDER:

PAIR 1: 6” RELAXED SHORT
Tried first in a size 16, wouldn’t button. Sized up to an 18 and they button but have severe gapping. Very rigid fit. Not for curves.

PAIR 2: AE EX-BOYFRIEND SHORT
Low rise. Wearing in size 14. They fit fine but don’t love the low rise. They fit more like a mid rise but I prefer high rise personally.

PAIR 3: AE EX-BOYFRIEND SHORT (BLACK WASH).
Sized up to a 16 just to compare. Definitely prefer this size if going for this lower rise.

PAIR 4: NEXT LEVEL STRETCH SHORT SHORTS
Wearing these in size 18! They are VERY stretchy, so easily could have done a 14 or 16, but wanted the extra length and I like the fit! These came home with me!

PAIR 5: CROSSOVER STRETCH MOM SHORT.
Shown in size 18. These aren’t as stretchy or forgiving as the next level stretch… they aren’t my favorite fit.

PAIR 6: NEXT LEVEL STRETCH MIDI SHORT (dark wash cuff).
Shown in size 16. I love this pair! I have a similar pair at home so I didn’t buy them, but no complaints!

PAIR 7: STRIGID CURVY RELAXED SHORT.
Size 18. This is my favorite pair. Tummy control in the front, zero gap, extra fabric to cover the inner thigh and booty. Absolutely came home with me!

I’m 5’2”, 230 lbs approx. and normally.

PAIR 1: this pair is NOT a curvy style. They do have some stretch and are a nice thick denim, I love the quality but they are a bit tight in the hips. I can’t tell if they are going to relax with wear or not so I’m not sure if I’ll keep them. I’m in a size 16 SHORT.

Pair 2: I LOVE THIS PAIR. They are a curvy mom jean and they fit perfectly! They are a nice thick denim with some structure, but room in the hips and no waist gap! Perfect high rise also! I’m in a size 16 regular.

Pair 3: another baggy jean style that fits even tighter than the first pair. Typically that is the case with lighter washes in my experience.

Pair 4: these are my first ever “dad jean” and I LOVE them? They have a nice relaxed fit, feel like Abercrombie quality… but I did dock one point because they are a touchhhh too loose in the crotch. Can’t tell if it’s the rise being too high or just the relaxed style. I still love them and I’m still keeping them. May even order other washes. I’m in a size 16 regular!

FAVORITE JEAN ROUND UP!

I am 5’2” and I’m typically a size 14-16 😘

PAIR 1: AE - these might just be my favorite jeans ever. The baggy/wide fit is so comfortable, the rise and fit on the waist is perfect, and the wash/distressing looks great with anything. These are available in “strigid” and “curvy” cuts.. I have tried and liked both, the curvy is just a bit more loose in the hips (my hips are 51”) I’m wearing them in a size 14 REG. I have linked BOTH below.

PAIR 2: AE Skinny Jegging- These are so stretchy and comfortable. Zero gap in the waist. I’ve had them for years and I’ll never give them up. I’m in a size 12 SHORT.

PAIR 3: AE Strigid Mom Jean - these are a strigid fit, meaning they have more structure in the front for tummy control, but more stretch in the back for the booty. I love these so much I tried to order every wash, but unfortunately they aren’t all created equal. These are the blown out blue. I’m in a size 14 REGULAR.

PAIR 4: AE CURVY 90s straight - again another pair that has ZERO waist gap and just enough stretch. But they still give luxury denim vibes in the wash and feel. Also in a 14 REGULAR

PAIR 5: AE STRETCH CURVY CARGO- these are the only “stretchy” wide leg or cargo jeans that I have found and I LOVE them. So comfy. I’m in a size 16 SHORT, and may order the regular so I can wear them with heels 🤭

PAIR 6 - A&F CURVE LOVE RELAXED FIT. These are one of my newer pairs but I already love them so much. They are a relaxed fit and do have a bit of gapping, but not a lot. I’m in a size 33/16 SHORT

PAIR 7 - AE CURVY STRETCH MOM JEAN! The rise is great, they are comfy. Medium stretch. Only complaint I could have if I was being picky is they are a bit tight on my calves. But I have big calves lol. I’m in a size 16 SHORT.

PAIR 1: shown in size 16 regular. I am all about a high waisted jean and these were the highest waist available. Probably a half inch higher than *perfect* for me, but I would rather too high than too low. I love the feel, wash and side slit detail but did dock points a bit because there is slight gapping in the back. Still wearable! ‼️ ON SALE FOR $23 ‼️

Pair 2: Shown in size 16 regular. These are the “standard” high waisted. Ironically I think they are a half inch too “too low” for my preference. Love everything else about them though! ‼️ ON SALE FOR $17 ‼️

Pair 3: Shown in size 16 regular. These are the “extra high” waisted, which is between the first two pairs. The rise is PERFECT. This pair has the most stretch and no surprise they fit like a GLOVE. No complaints about this pair, they are a jegging like material. ‼️ ON SALE FOR $26 ‼️

Pair 4: shown in size 16 regular. This pair and I could fight. BECAUSE THIS PAIR IS A CURVY STYLE?! Tell me how they are the only ones that didn’t fit then 🤨 would have given 0/10, but I do like the material. Just wish they were ACTUALLY curvy 😌 ‼️ ON SALE FOR 16 ‼️
