This was our first trip to Santorini and it exceeded all expectations. We couldn’t get over the caldera view @gracehotelsantorini 💙💙 We never knew what a caldera was (basically a volcanic crater leading to the collapse of the mouth of the volcano). In this case it dropped beneath the water to form this amazing bay with high peaks around it. 🌋 The best time to visit Santorini is the shoulder season while the weather is beautiful but the crowds are smaller.
