ICYMI on stories yesterday, I’m officially 36 weeks and Brady is already measuring to be 8lbs 4oz. Our ultrasound tech asked if we are feeding him Miracle Grow! 🤣 At this rate, we are fully expecting him to be pushing 10lbs around 39 weeks, so we have a c section scheduled for June 17th! 🎉 He may choose to come before then and anything can happen, but we are so excited to know that he will at least be here by the 17th 🤗🙌🏼👏🏼

I’m 36 weeks tomorrow and boy am I feelin’ it. I have all of the symptoms you would expect and officially feel Brady everywhere (ribs, bladder, you name it). We get to find out how he is measuring tomorrow and will most likely be making a game plan based on his size. I am SO ready to meet this sweet boy and can’t wait to soak up all the snuggles. Until then, work, a nap, & a prenatal massage are on the agenda. 🙌🏼

I don’t know if I have the perfect words for Mother’s Day because I’m honestly overwhelmed by what today means for me. This is the first year in a long time that I’ve been able to be on IG consistently on Mother’s Day without having a breakdown. This is the first year that I’ve celebrated the day for myself and didn’t nap my way through it. Not only am I Brady’s mom, but Josh sweetly acknowledged this morning that I’m also a mama to two angels in heaven that we never got to meet. That’s what makes this day even more surreal. While my heart has felt like I’m a mom for years, this is the first year that I really get to lean into my journey to motherhood.

I can’t wait to meet Brady and feel beyond honored that God chose me to love him forever. Thank you to everyone that has sent the sweetest texts and messages today, they mean more than you’ll ever know!

To those of you that are struggling today as you long to have a baby in your arms, I understand you & I see you. You are not alone & it’s okay to give into the emotions of what this day brings. Know that I am praying for you and thinking of you always. 💐💛
