I hacked our bed to turn it into the canopy bed I’ve been dreaming about. It’s completely transformed the vibe of our bedroom and the best part is, I can change it up so easily!

I had a few people suggest changing out the curtains to something lighter so I thought I’d give it a try. What do you think?

I feel like it ties in better with the Secret Garden dressing room we made over last year. But now I think we need to paint this room. I’ve got a colour in mind but I’m curious to know what you’d pick.

I wanted a canopy bed but my low ceilings said no. So I hopped onto @wayfaircanada during their Black Friday in July sale and found these cool curtain rods that pivot. It got me thinking- I could make an illusion of a canopy bed with curtain rods and some curtains!

Of course when you give a mouse a cookie, you know what happens. So of course I had to replace our broken lamps with these burgundy pleated sconces. And while I was at it, I also upgraded our nightstands to these walnut stained ones with ample storage.

This bedroom makeover turned out so good and I did it all on a budget during Wayfair’s Black Friday in July sale that’s happening from now till July 28th!

These fluttering linen curtains are such great quality for a good price. I swear by them. I have two packs here making it four panels for a fuller look. I also linked my go to curtain rod. They have the prettiest finish and comes in various sizes. I’ve used them all over my home.

I linked my bedding from Brookline as well because of the Memorial Day sale.

Miniature art has my heart. I love these pieces by my friend Melissa. You can find these on Etsy. The delicate gold frames and velvet ribbon adds such a beautiful touch to these bodacious 🍐 acrylics. And the lavender field painting is darling.

I’m linking a mix of prints and hand painted pieces by her that I love.

I’ll be buying more from her for sure!
