Ok, let’s talk work ✋This quarter has been especially fast-paced and challenging. Today I’m being forced to slow down—I’m headed to jury duty in the middle of what’s been a particularly frenetic week, and I find myself reflecting on three takeaways that I’ve come to depend on in my career. I don’t talk about work much —and I realize that not everyone has or wants a traditional corporate career. But in case these help anyone, here are three pieces of career advice I live by that have served me well, especially during moments of upheaval and ambiguity: ✨ Everything is an opportunity. Embrace change and find a way to be indispensably helpful in moving your team and business forward. 👫 Always think of the people. You will go further towards achieving your goals if you understand what drives the people around you and what keeps them up at night. 🤝 Find your allies—and make more of them.
