White shorts with a built in belly slimming panel!?!? Yes! Puh-lease!!

This 3xC-Sec momma appreciates all the belly slimming things! I have a “ridge,” y’all and no amount of eating right, running or crunches is going to change it!
But these shorts, they sure do the trick!! AND I have them in two other colors bc I can’t get enough!

These are one of the items on my weekly rotation! I wear them weekly at this point. There are a couple of pieces I find myself gravitating to this summer. I will have to share a post on just those items later this week!!

Why does everything feel better in white!? Do you ever notice how cool and fresh white feels??

It happened today. I opened my closet door and had an instant aversion to everything I’ve been wearing for months now. It’s too hot for jeans. 🥵

So I stood there and my eyes landed on my stack of white denim. Perfect 👍🏻.

Same jeans. Same fit. Same, same, same, ✅. But white. Instant comfort, instant cool, no sweaty legs!

💫 White Jean Tip: Go one size up when purchasing. Work with a relaxed or straight leg fit. Double check that denim weight is good, not super thin or fabric lines (bad quality). They do not have to be expensive to be good quality, just make sure they are not see through or have lines in the fabric when stretched out.

We have 10 days til Schools out for Summer!!! Summer countdown is on!! How many days until your kids are out???

What are your summer plans?
We have some exciting things planned. Lots of baseball, golf, biking and swimming. I hope to share some Houston hot spots with y’all this summer.

Do you have a go to Summer Uniform?
I live in shorts and tanks. You can make shorts and a tank look chic and modern if you look for clean cuts and interesting textures. This ribbed tank in celadon is a new favorite!! It goes so well with jeans or shorts, and even works with skirts!

Throw on some trusty wedges and voila, instant outfit. These wedges are 5 years old this summer and they are still my favorites! Pair your wedges with shorts and skirts to avoid looking bulky on the bottom.

And speaking of bulky … these Spanx shorts suck it all in! No more mom csec belly!!

Tee shirt dress, denim jacket, sneakers and let’s go!!! Working on our swings today!

This tee dress is the first thing I pack when preparing for a summer trip. It’s so easy to wear and all in one that it makes getting dressed a breeze. Cotton makes it breathable and comfortable.

The Bogg bag is getting tons of use too and has become a fave of my kids as well since they know they don’t have to “be careful,” like they do with my other tote bags!! 🤣

Do you want shorts that work for you? Like literally work???

These cotton twill shorts have a panel inside that smoothes out your belly! This 3 c-section momma loves that! Hides the Fupa and the ridge! IYKYK.

I wear these shorts at least every 3 days. No joke. They are so fresh and clean can be dressed up or down since they are twill which is dressier than the stretchy waist bands of my other shorts.

They are true to size and come in multiple colors. I own 3! Amazing quality. I machine wash cold and lay flat to dry. Never put them in the dryer because it would destroy the stretch fibers.

Paired them with a chambray button down, leather belt and these fun sandals!

Do you ever feel like not even wearing clothes!? Like it’s that hot! 🥵

I don’t even want to get dressed, but for the sake of society I threw on this fun cotton dress. My MIL called me Shirley Temple and my day was made. I’ll take Shirley Temple!

It is that kind of too hot here. Too hot to get dressed. Too hot to think. Summer brain is a thing. I didn’t even get dressed yesterday. Nike shorts all day.
