This dress is possibly one of the most worn pieces in my closet. Probably because I can dress it up or down and it’s very comfortable. Today was one of those days where the weather was sort of hot but sort of iffy. So I threw a button up over it as a topper, and I really like how it turned out.

This is one of those perfect dresses to keep in your closet for those just in case moments. Great for travel, or a dinner where you need a dress but it’s not dressy. It pairs beautifully with sandals, sneakers and boots. And provides shape but is not tight. It also comes in a plethora of colors!

I feel like I really dug into the archives of my wardrobe this week. This shirt is very old, but it is gauzy and lightweight and felt perfect to wear on a summer night. I paired it with my favorite barrel Jean in a black chino material and adding summery sandals in a light color bag helped a dark outfit feel appropriate for August.

I’m sporting two new items in this outfit. It was perfect for a day with back-to-back clients. This top is made from reworked men’s shirts and it is even better in person. I was told from my outfit of the day post that the item sold out. I’m hoping they will restock. But they have other colors and, that are fabulous. Also, I picked up these shoes a few weeks ago. They are incredibly comfortable. Especially in my wide foot bed.

I don’t play golf very often, so I recycle a lot of the same golf clothes. I loved adding my shalom sweater to this outfit. Partly because I love the message and also because I loved how it looked.

I’m really liking the look of shorter jackets with fuller leg pants. This one is definitely an investment, and I love how it’s lightweight with the contrast stitching. It’s perfect for a cool summer night and all year long, especially if you’re a snowbird.
