Oh what a difference a couple of weeks make! I’ve finally gotten ahead of the boxes and am happy to say am down to a manageable 7 boxes in the downstairs portion of the house! And slowly but surely the place is shaping up! I’m on the hunt for the perfect coffee table, got one in mind but for some reason I keep getting cold feet every time I think to pull the trigger 🙈 Hopefully, I’ll come to a decision soon! It’s slowly but surely coming together. We have landscaping! Never mind the fact that some of it is dead already, this Texas heat is real, y’all! 🙈 See those lantern lights? The counters are in and so is the backsplash! Even though I’m partial to white, we decided to change things up a bit from our last house and go with a taupe-y grey for the cabinets and white countertops. The backsplash is 2x6 tiles placed in in a herringbone pattern. I’ve also got black hardware I’ll be adding (linked) to tie it all together with the faucet!
