A few of you asked, so here is my super simple 4 step nighttime skincare routine. Through 3 pregnancies and countless hormone fluctuations, this routine has kept my skin stable. And coming from acne that was so severe it needed cortisone injections to clear it at times, that’s saying a WHOLE lot!

Last week I shared that my skincare/beauty routine was the first thing to get a major overhaul when I found out I was pregnant 🤰🏾

This week I’m giving a little looksee into exactly what my pregnancy “safe” morning skincare routine looks like 🔽

1️⃣ Hydrate using a toner 💦 I use @thayersnatural rose water witch hazel toner. Pre-pregnancy I used the lemon toner (containing salicylic acid), and as soon as it’s safe I’ll be back 🍋

2️⃣ Apply any “treatments”. I use prescribed clindamycin cream from my dermatologist to treat any acne

3️⃣ Recently I started applying my serum with a rose quartz roller for a more even application. Hyaluronic acid from @theordinary is the current go to

4️⃣ Moisturize using @cerave which I started using pre-pregnancy. It gives my acne prone skin the hydration it needs to keep pimples at bay

5️⃣ Oils: @sundayriley CEO Glow Vitamin C + Tumeric face oil gives me a beautiful/healthy glow and keeps my complexion even 🍊

6️⃣ Protect with @blackgirlsunscreen This is, again, another pre-pregnancy staple that’s free of the yucky chemicals like oxybenzone, avobenzone or octinoxate ☝🏾
