P L A N // Happy Tuesday friends!! Officially maternity leave is over and I am back to work! Definitely will miss the focused time on baby but really am excited and motivated to figure out a new schedule and routine for our family. One of my favorite ways to get organized for the new year is a planner, where I can physically write down events, appointments and goals. This year, I decided to add some fun stickers by the @the_happy_planner to brighten the pages and make it even more fun to open each day. O R G A N I Z E // So excited to have tackled our Master Bathroom cabinets! Felt great to purge expired products and items we don’t use anymore. Having a home for everything is such a great feeling 🥰 90% of our storage bins/containers are all from @amazon. Absolutely love how clean and simple these pieces are (think the stacked, white drawers are my favorite)! We were able to use gift cards from the holidays for everything which was wonderful. Only items we didn’t get from Amazon were our little white tins from @target in the “dollar spot” - definitely want like 20 more of these 😂 They are actually $5 a piece or a set of 2 for $10. Definitely a great deal for how roomy they are and how they come with a pretty, wooden lid.

In addition to planning and organizing this year, I am also working on allowing myself grace. Too many times a day, I set unrealistic goals or get frustrated I “haven’t done enough.” Truth is, life happens and our body/mind sometimes need other items prioritized first. D R O P Z O N E // Happy Wednesday friends! So excited to share our revamped drop zone with you guys! Before, this area was painted white but constantly chipped, showed dirt like no other and was super disorganized. I decided it would benefit us to paint it another color (one that wouldn’t show grime so easily) and add some more storage solutions. This only took one day to do and I am in LOVE! The color is “Dorian Gray” by @sherwinwilliams (same color as the Laundry Room accent wall) and the black hooks are from @homedepot. These were super easy to install and are so much prettier than the lone hook we had before. The baskets are from @target and are ones we already had - they actually are for all of Pepper’s things 🙈 And speaking of Target, love, love, love the little envelope we put on the wall for mail. It was only $3 in the Dollar Spot and is technically meant for a desk but I had other plans for it. Two nails and it was hung. 😊

My favorite part of this overall project was it made use of items we already had around the house. I find simply updating an area with fresh paint or rearranging decor makes all the difference in the world! You really can make something old new again - just need to evaluate what you have. Only items I bought for this project were the hooks ($4.95 a piece) and the envelope ($3). Such a fun update and went so quickly! Now time for some lunch and to relax. O R G A N I Z E // As you all saw on stories, I am so excited to get down to business organizing every part of our home. Love this part of January and having the chance to start over with fresh spaces. Started today with the office and getting drawers and files in order. These files I picked up from @officedepot and came with all the tabs and labels needed. Used a couple of drawer organizers from @amazon and voilà 😊 Half the battle is purging old papers and items no longer needed to make space for what’s important so once that was done… it was easy! Excited to start on the pantry this week and get going on our 2022 house projects. What’s on your house project list this year? 😉

P A N T R Y // The BIG REVEAL 🥳 Pantry is completely done and we are in love! These new wooden shelves we made are absolutely stunning and make such a world of difference! Feels nice to be rid of those gross wire shelves and to know my food items will stay standing from now on 🙈 The project all said and done took about a day and a half to do and was very easy (hardest part was painting 😂).
