Which dining room are you in the mood for? A pop of blue, or neutral patterns and textures? I love both. In our own dining room we went bold and moody, and I couldn’t love it more. Both of these are a good mix of the styles and elements we chose in our own space!

In the Mood: Cozy Fireplace Styling. When styling any space in our home, I love mixing finishes and metals. You’ll often see that I mixed brass with polished chrome, or wrought iron / black too. It helps create a really cohesive look and balance throughout the space. You’ll also notice that if I introduce a color, I’ll try to add in another piece of that same color or tone to create that balance. For example, the leather ottoman plays of the TV frame so well in this first design, and the TV frame and the fireplace screen create balance in the second design!

The weather might not be ready, but I am more than ready for patio season! This week’s in the mood is inspired by our own patio. We went with a bluestone paver patio and it’s simply put stunning! I love how it’s light and bright, while incorporating warm tones still.
