#competition Favorite hair products: Growth serum: Divi—Have had so much growth, especially along my hairline at my part/temples, since I started using this serum 8 months ago. Even my hair stylist commented on all my new growth! Heat protectant & shine: IGK Good Behavior Spirulina Protein Smoothing Spray—they describe it as heat-activated Keratin-like treatment in a can! For me, I feel like it adds shine and a little texture/body to the ends of my typically flat/thin hair. Dry shampoo/volume: IGK First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo—I use this on my roots between washes for dry shampoo, but also a little bit on wash days for some extra body/volume at my root. It helps a TON if you tend to have oily hair! For that fresh blow out look without all the time and energy required for a fresh blowout—> My natural hair is under a constant identity crisis, with some parts being between flat and straight and others kinda wavy, so the best way I have found to get volume is to normal blow dry (I don’t round brush.. who has time for that?!) after applying Joico Defy Damage. After drying, I use the IGK Good Behavior spray for extra heat protection and shine before doing a few quick passes with my T3 1.5” curling iron. I’ll spritz from IGK dry shampoo on my roots for a little volume at the end and brush through! (For washing, I rotate with Divi Shampoo and Redken Cleansing Cream.
