I didn’t even think our carpets were that dirty… and then I did one pass with this thing.

It’s wild how dirt settles deep into the fibers and you just stop seeing it after a while. This was after one pass. I’ll probably go over it again, but I’m impressed.

This took me back to years ago when we had a cleaning service come out as part of a maintenance plan we paid for. The guy showed up carrying a small handheld machine and I remember thinking… wait. That’s it? I could probably do this myself next time.

So here we are. Just not $600 later.

That’s the kind of “make the house less annoying” energy I’m into.

17. Wipe and reset the bathroom counter
18. Gather dead batteries and put them in a glass jar for recycling
19. Toss broken hair ties and random clips
20. Clear the top of your dresser
21. Open your kids’ backpack and toss the bottom crumbs + random papers
22. Clear out the random stuff in cup holder in your car door
23. Edit the food container situation
24. Create a place to collect all the random change around your house
25. Open the freezer and toss the unidentifiable ice block situation

Residue free cleaning cloths? Yes, it’s possible.

And this wet/dry vacuum gets hard services spotless and simultaneously dries them you don’t have wet floors for long.

Leaving the washer door cracked helps prevent the buildup of mold and mildew. And while yes, you still need to clean your machine once in a while, keeping it dry in between is what makes the real difference.

A washer door prop holds it open just enough to let air flow and moisture escape without the door swinging wide into the walkway or a tight space.

A little less cleaning is always preferable.
