No one wants to be "that family" on the plane with a squirmy, sad kid. Between us we've done close to 75 flights with our kids (all under age 3) and these are our must haves!

Remember: the most important thing is to give yourself grace + remind yourself that most passengers are eager to help and understanding 💙

Traveling overseas is stressful, doing it with your kid(s) adds a completely new dynamic. All of these linked items are military spouse tried and true recommendations!

Other advice?

-Pack more diapers than you think you'll need

-Request a bassinet seat
-Bring a car seat if the bassinet seat isn't available
