We did a lot of walking day two + I was so happy that I wore the shoes I did for that very reason. Also loved that a simple shoe swap + hair scarf add let me quickly go from day to night in the city!

My first set of outfits for our trip to Brussels, Belgium!

I took a red eye flight in the most comfortable linen set + did a little bit of daytime adventuring in that before grabbing a quick nap and swapping out for a linen dress to do dinner, drinks + late (laaaaate) night karaoke 🤪

No one wants to be "that family" on the plane with a squirmy, sad kid. Between us we've done close to 75 flights with our kids (all under age 3) and these are our must haves!

Remember: the most important thing is to give yourself grace + remind yourself that most passengers are eager to help and understanding 💙

Traveling overseas is stressful, doing it with your kid(s) adds a completely new dynamic. All of these linked items are military spouse tried and true recommendations!

Other advice?

-Pack more diapers than you think you'll need
-Lots of snacks (those linked pouch lids are a mess free solution to an easy to pack snack)
-Request a bassinet seat
-Bring a car seat if the bassinet seat isn't available
-GRACE - it's going to be unpredictable, but you'll survive it 💙
