quick make-up look i did Friday after parading the @deserthillspo designer outlet, the largest collection of luxury outlets in California. sadly left with nothing, but I will definitely be back. ⁠

back to the eyes--i finally purchased a CLEAN eyeshadow palette which means I am officially using all clean eye make-up products now. why the switch? because my eyes have become sensitive AF! and they now require their own skin routine. that's not to say i can't wear non-clean eye make-up, but the longer I wear it, the higher the chance my eyes will become irritated, especially if a speck of mascara remains on my lash before going to bed. ⁠

i went with the @lawless the mini one palette because of it's array of wearable/every day mattes and shimmers. i used it the whole trip and created various looks, including event make-up. ⁠

@iliabeauty carries some ride or die mascaras, but this one by @saiebeauty is pretty legit if you're looking for that spikier, more separated look. ⁠

last but not least is the @bareminerals eyeliner which is a narrow and precise twist-up liner that glides like a dream. i just purchased the black, but also have the brown! ⁠

i've changed up a couple things in my make-up prep routine to give me that "glow from within" look. ⁠
⁠
1. i started using a pearlescent primer. i've been a fan of @supergoop unseen sunscreen for awhile and when i saw more makeup content with their "glow" screen product (tiktok, of course), i knew i wanted to try it. it's an SPF + make-up primer + highlight all in one. it's texture is perfect and i actually prefer it's feeling on the skin more than unseen's. added a product to my 'holy grail' collection.⁠

2. i added @ctilburymakeup flawless filter to my make-up routine. i use this after the @supergoop and before foundation. it's a little much on top of the glow screen, but once you apply your foundation, contour, blush, powder, etc. it tones the pearly look down and gives you a stunning queen sheen. pro tip: powder in areas you're naturally oily because a glowy and dewier look calls for an oilier face later on in the day. also if you wanted to take it up a notch, you can highlight even further on the high points of the face. this was a day look so i didn't take it there. ⁠

these dupes are best for dry or combination skin. they are okay to use on oily skin but only if used in the evening as they could cause oiliness witb your make up. 👎🏽 i would not recommend the dupes for acne-prone skin! i have heard crème de @lamer is safe for acne-prone skin. #linkinbio⁠
