Casey’s Lasagna Recipe Sauce: 1 29oz can Hunts tomato sauce 3 6oz cans Hunts tomato paste 3 tbs sugar 2 tbs Italian seasoning 1 tbs garlic powder 1 tsp basil 1 tsp oregano 1/2 lb sweet Italian sausage 1/2 lb ground beef Dani’s original to season meat 1/3 c minced sautéed onion cooked with meat in 1tbs olive oil 1-2 tbs olive oil added to sauce while cooking A few shakes of Salt and pepper 1/2 container small curd cottage cheese 1/2 container of ricotta About 2 big handfuls of spinach chopped Seasoned with garlic powder and dried parsley MIXED 1 lb mozzarella grated Boil lasagna noodles set aside Cook your meat in the pan you can use a little more if you want. It just depends on how meaty you want it. 1.5 lbs is a perfect amount. The season it with Dano’s original Add the sauce ingredients and cook the sauce. It shouldn’t be runny, but if it seems a little too thick, you can add a little bit of water.
