Are you a “no shoes in the house” family? I’m TRYING to convert my family to this policy but I’m struggling to get everyone on board! We have a mudroom off the garage where everyone enters and it seems so easy to just pull off your kicks right when you walk in the door but I can’t get them to do it! I’m thinking I’ll buy everyone really great slippers for Xmas and maybe that would entice them? One challenge we’re facing is that everyone stores their shoes in their respective rooms and when they get dressed for the day, they are able to peruse their footwear options. If you’re a “no shoes in the house” family ... where do you store all your shoes? Are you just in the habit of carrying them in and out of your closet for storage and just putting them on right before you walk out of the house? Do you end up with piles of shoes by the door? That might drive me nuts!! What do you do if you have a party ... does everyone remove their shoes?
