On the hunt for the perfect setting spray: one that makes my makeup look better, lasts longer, and doesn’t emphasize my pores or spritz droplets on my face that ruins my glam. This round I tested Morphe Life Proof Continuous Mist and NARS Light Reflecting Setting Spray. Both mist gently with no splashing, but I returned both to Ulta since they emphasized my pores. My longtime favorite is still @Benefit Porefessional setting spray. It’s the only one that actually improves my skin instead of emphasizing pores. The only caveat is it’s not tear proof on me. I love layering sprays. Mac Fix Plus or Caudalie Beauty Elixir (also great under makeup) for glow and meshing my products, then Porefessional to seal. My tip: test setting sprays in store, walk around a bit, and take before/after pics to see if it improves your makeup or not, so you’re not wasting $$ on something that doesn’t work for your skin. Funny enough, my favorite foundation is NARS Light Reflecting. I really thought the spray would be my match but it’s not single momma dollars approved.
