Our Welsh dresser is all dressed up for Spring. I swapped two plates!! 😅😂

These daffodils are just phenomenal. They are gigantic, but I’m not sure you can see this from the angle here? They are the most beautiful ‘pearlescent’ colour close up too!! Stunning cut flowers from the garden!!

It’s gone that cold way again outside so I’ve lit the occasional candle. And fire.

The weather has turned again at this end of the world. I lit the fire again yesterday and our country livingroom felt so nurturing! All these items are at least a year and a half old. Most are many years old. I seek long term comforts! 😌

My current “lived in” country bedroom view! For the first time in quite a while I’ve decided to rest for an hour during the day!! Feeling grateful for the room and also grateful that I am able to do this today! The bed linen was from The White Company, and the other bits were from John Lewis and Fortnums (I love these baskets for a bedside table!!). Sometimes it’s great to create with flowers. Others it is wonderful to receive locally sourced ones! I’m looking back at some clips from last year and thinking just how stunning my Boden dresses were. They really did elevate the every day. Boden have a sale on now so it is well worth checking them out. I have linked some similar (non sale) dresses - in terms of material and cut - that are on my wishlist for this year.
