Designer-looking coats don’t need designer prices…

This cream wool coat is one of those pieces that instantly elevates every outfit. I grabbed it in the sale for £85 (was £189!) and it looks far more expensive than it is. Perfect for coffee dates or throwing over knitwear when you want to look put-together without trying too hard. The fit is timeless, the colour goes with everything, and it’s one of those coats you’ll reach for year after year.

Well that didn’t exactly turn out as I hoped, let’s break it down….

The cream co ord is super soft, fits nicely and is really comfortable but it does kind of show off every lump and bump, not necessarily a bad thing but just putting it out there. Still super cute and does exactly what I bought it for.

The brown.. well this one I was unsure on when I unpacked it because the material looked a bit strange and cheap however I probably prefer this one on the most out of all 3. Yes I’m still not sold on the material but it is comfortable, the trousers weren’t that long after all and the fit is really nice, I also love the button up detail on the top. Worth what I paid for it though? I’m undecided.

They grey… this was the one I had high hopes for and although I do love it and is something I would definitely wear on repeat the trousers are a little long, great if your wearing platform Uggs which is an option but I wear a lot of trainers. Very comfortable fit and soft to just a shame about the top, I love it but would need to size up which means sizing up in the bottoms to as they are sold as one and that’s not an option so I’m going to have to return it. All that being said I do love it and would buy as separates.
