I can see the processing in my eyes in this video— as the girl who’s been told to eat a hamburger her entire life, seeing the ways my body has changed in the past four years of growing our babies isn’t always the most comfortable. and yet, I feel proud of the body that has given birth to two beautiful babies, carried and grown new life from scratch. if our bodies are a temple of the holy spirit & the Lord knits our babies together in our wombs, then I can know that every bit of loose skin & every stretch marks is just a tiny reflection of the God of the universe at work through this body I get to steward — and what a gift that is.
