Homeschool finds! Lately we’ve found ourselves learning lots about dinosaurs; what they ate, their habitat, and why they went extinct. Lilly is a sponge. She loves learning and is fascinated by evolution. I found this book “When the Whales Walked” by Dougal Dixon and it has been a phenomenal resource full of so much information with incredible pictures by Hannah Bailey. I have learned so much and I’m so grateful to do it alongside my girl in a subject she is interested in

I cannot get enough of these sensory kits. Julie Friedman is the creator behind the sensory dough and business: Young, Wild, & Friedman. She created this when a doctor recommended sensory play for her daughter with a speech disorder. There are SO many benefits to this dough: helps children with fine motor skills, enables their imagination, and puts problem solving skills to work to name a few.
My kiddos got these for Easter and I can’t wait to surprise them with the next theme I’ve got picked out!
