The print in this pant is really festive and reminds me of wrapping paper, so it felt like a great starting place to style a Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve look.

Additionally, because it is not an obvious holiday print like a tartan plaid, it has life outside of the holidays. You could easily repurpose this entire look for an arts inspired evening at a gallery or theater.

The Canadian Tuxedo is a way of life for me. The recent trend styling is a fluid, drapey wear in oversized proportions in a medium blue wash.

Because I am short, I like to create height to achieve an elegant fluid look- otherwise the fabric floods my frame and it drowns me.

Right on (trend) cue, I would love to see this suit with this open toe platform. I like the gold stud that will peek out and dress up the look with a flash of gold.

My obsession with Bottega continues- and I love that the square grid from the weave connects to the square stud in the shoe.
