I read two books back to back where the Female Main Character (FMC) tries to run away from the possibility of a relationship out of fear of getting hurt - but the Main Male Character (MMC) won’t allow her to run.

If you’re looking for a swoony romance with emotional depth, fall vibes, and set in the 90s - this story is perfect!

After losing her mom and her marriage, Michelle heads to Vermont to run her parent's bed and breakfast. She's independent and stubborn, almost to a fault, and quickly learns that to make the bed and breakfast a success, she's going to have to let others help her. I loved the growth, confidence, and joy that Michelle found living in the small town.

Cliff was the star of the story! A single father running his own bakery and doing the best he can to raise and support his two daughters. He was able to break through Michelle’s tough exterior layers and bring her soft side to the surface. As a baker, Cliff’s love language is baking for others (and physical touch!). I adored that he kept baking treats to try and find Michelle's perfect pastry!

Julie Olivia nailed the small town, fall season vibe, and found family. I wanted to put on a cozy sweater and grab a cup of cocoa while I read.

Wow!! It’s been awhile since a story brought so much swoon, AND pulled such deep emotions from me! It was so much more than I expected it to be!

I fell in love with Parker and Fritz’ story right out of the gate! Childhood best friends who were torn apart with no explanation, while Parker was forced to go through a horrible experience. A chance reunion brings them back together in a time when Parker needs it most, and let me tell you Fritz was everything Parker needed and then some!

This story is about second chances, and standing up for what’s right, with football and politics woven in. It tackles hard topics like toxic families, trauma, and abuse, but also shows the beauty of friendship, healing, and love. The story will break your heart at times and carefully put it back together even better than it was before!

I was able to preview the new audiobook with Stephanie Rose and Sean Masters as narrators. Sean Masters is one of my favorite narrators, and this duo did a fantastic job together!

Since We’ve No Place to Go by Kate Watson was such a charming holiday romance - full of heart, humor, and chemistry!

Liesel works analytics for the Chicago Firebirds, and Cooper Kellog is the very cocky player she accidentally roasts on a flight… while he’s in disguise. 👀
Because of Cooper’s injury, they’re forced to work together, clashing hard over roster decisions.

Somewhere between roster meetings, an escape room, secret texts, and holiday chaos, their defenses come down, and chemistry sparks.

“I’m not dating him. I’m flirting with him. Big difference. And I’m not even flirting… I’m fighting with him.”

I loved all the quiet moments they had baking together and serving other people. Liesel’s overprotective baseball family was hilarious!

This one is the perfect mix of witty banter, heartfelt healing, and holiday cheer!
