My tried and true artisan bread loaf recipe has saved me many tears that i used to shed trying to master sourdough 😂🙈 it’s super simple! Here’s what to do: 1.5 C warm water 2tsp of active dry yeast 2tsp of sea salt (regular salt is also fine) 3 C of flour Add your warm water, yeast and salt to a bowl. Let stand for 5 minutes to get bubbly! Then add your three cups of flour and mix with a dough whisk/hook! Your dough will be lumpy and sticky. I like to remove mine from the bowl and stretch/fold/shape a bit before putting it back in the bowl to rise. Cover with a towel and put in the oven with your oven light on to rise for 2-3 hours! Once the dough has risen, do another stretch/fold and shape into a ball! Line a Dutch oven with parchment paper, drop your dough ball in, and preheat your oven to 445 degrees F. bake for 30min covered, then remove your Dutch oven lid and cook for an additional 15min. You’ll have the perfect round loaf that looks just like sourdough, without the headache! LTKHome LTKFamily LTKKids
