What I didn’t know our living room was missing… 💭

I was SO stumped with how to style our asymmetrical fireplace (we have a hallway on one side of the fireplace & an open area on the other side). I love symmetry in design, so it was a challenge. The vintage-inspired tapestry gave it the color/drama it was missing & the sideboard has been the perfect landing spot for all our games, vinyl, etc.

Expensive home on a budget hack!

2 of my favs for battery powered lights. I bought these wall sconces from Amazon & so far I’m still loving them. The black one plugs in to charge & the silver has a rechargeable battery that you take out to charge.

My most recommended faux tree to date!! Genuinely don’t understand why it’s so cheap. I buy the 6ft & then pop it in a larger/taller pot to make it closer to 7/8ft!

The peel & stick tiles I used for the guest room fireplace mantel. Probably the best peel & stick tiles I’ve ever come across! They’re super sturdy, but you can score & cut them as needed. Def more heavy duty, so I’d attach them to a poster board if you’re looking for something renter friendly. If you’re looking for an affordable “permanent” option for your home though, these black marble onyx tiles are 10/10. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments!
