 If you’re doing a January reset, don’t forget your hair products. Old, expired products can actually work against your hair goals. Causing buildup, dryness, irritation, or just… zero results.

How to tell if your hair products are expired- • Smell: If it smells sour, musty, or “off,” it’s done. • Texture: Separation, clumps, or a watery/curdled feel = toss it. • Color: Any change in color is a red flag. • Performance: If it used to work and suddenly doesn’t, expiration could be why. • Time: Most hair products last 6–12 months after opening (check for the little open-jar symbol on the label!).

Pro tip: If you can’t remember when you bought it… that’s probably your answer 😅
