Do your looks ever feel blah…it’s probably bc you are just WEARING your clothes instead of STYLING them to feel like you.

Take the time to play with your pieces and layer in different ways. I won’t lie, this can take time and patience. Take note- the better the man in your life looks, the better you look. The nordstrom anniversary sale is actually a great time to stock up on men’s wardrobe items-bc if you are going to buy it anyways, it might as well be on sale! And please please please don’t forget the accessories.

Jack victor dress pants- think of these as an Alternative option to jeans. Trousers can still be somewhat casual paired with a knit polo.

Tom ford sunglasses- enough said.

Theory soris knit polo- refined yet casual. Finally get him out of the golf polos and into something stylish. Sometimes can run a bit slimmer. Great for a long torso.

Paige federal denim- the stretchy denim that no man can say no to. Should fit comfortably snug bc they will give a bit. Wash inside out and hang dry only.

Jack victor sport coat- every man needs a sport coat to pair with jeans for smart casual and with trousers for business casual. Layer a white shirt or a nice silk sweater underneath. Keep reading for those.

ToBoot Cambridge penny loafer- refined but versatile rebought to wear with jeans or a suit.

Vince Dylan chino- another alternative to a jean but even more casual enough to wear with a sneaker or a tshirt.

$As a seasoned stylist and former nordstrom lingerie fitter, these are really the only things you need this year from the Nordstrom anniversary sale. Natori bliss perfection- buttery soft color and an underwire? This bra gives ultimate comfort and lift at the same time. Can run generous in the band. Hanky Panky lace thong- my all time favorite panty. We used to sell these 20 at a time in every color. Like going to a candy store, you could get these in every color. Seamless, comfortable, and the most un-thong thing out there. Chantelle panties- seamless, one size and in every style you could want: hipster, brief, bikini or thong. The best alternative if you don’t already have an obsession with hanky pankys. Natori flora underwire bra- a great alternative to the perfect fit you can get from a cut and see bra but with just a little bit of molding (or coverage) the lace overlays to give you a tshirt bra look and is great for softer tissue. No double bubble here. A tried and true. Nordstrom moonlight pajamas- do yourself a favor and get yourself a matching pajamas set. You deserve it. These feel luxurious for a fraction of the price and wear really well. Comes in a shorts version too! Paige anessa jean- not a lingerie item but a great staple denim that is universally flattering. Typically runs true to size and this is a wonderful color for fall. Denim should always be comfortably snug when you first purchase as they will “give” over time. Away luggage- as a professional packer for many clients, this is the the number one brand of suitcase I use and love. Holds up amazing after many miles and super functional. Never seen this on the sale so grab it if you NEED new luggage. Loving this color too! These and a few more linked just for you. Don’t be fooled by a sale, it’s the easiest way to fill your closet with unneeded items. As always, shop with a strategy and if you are going to shop the Nordstrom sale, treat it as a commodities sale. You NEED most of the above, so you might as well get it while it’s marked down.
