Menopause doesn’t just change how we feel.
It changes how our skin behaves.

As estrogen declines, skin loses collagen, elasticity, and hydration. Cell turnover slows. Pigmentation and sensitivity become more noticeable. Skin can suddenly look thinner, drier, or more tired even if your routine hasn’t changed.

For a long time, I thought this meant I needed stronger products or more aggressive treatments. What I’ve learned is the opposite.

Menopausal skin needs support, not punishment.

I shifted my focus to what actually helps skin in this season: red light therapy, hormone support, barrier-first skincare with peptides, daily SPF, consistent sleep, and enough protein to support collagen from the inside out.

Skin care in menopause isn’t just topical anymore.
Hormones, nutrition, recovery, and stress all matter. Skin reflects how supported your body feels.
