Never apologize for wanting to look good. ❤️ Somewhere along the way, women got the message that embracing aging means we're supposed to stop caring about how we look. I completely disagree. I love getting older. I’m grateful for every year, every laugh line and every lesson that came with them. But let's be clear... I also want to look damn good. 😂 And since we're not gatekeeping around here, I'm telling you what I actually do. Yes, I get Botox. Yes, I use great skincare. Yes, I use at-home beauty devices. Yes, I get a little lip filler to replace lost volume. Yes, I invest in a professional skin treatment about once a year. I microneedle as part of my own routine, wear sunscreen every day, drink a ton of water, exercise, stretch, prioritize sleep and drink far less alcohol than I used to. Is any one of these things the secret? Nope. For me, it’s the combination…and the consistency. And here's the part I really want women to hear: Wanting to look your best isn't the same thing as wanting to look younger. I don't want to be 30 again. I want to be a healthy, happy, confident, fabulous 53. So wear the makeup. Use the skincare. Get the treatment…or don't. Do whatever makes you feel good when you look in the mirror. There is no prize for caring the least. Take care of yourself in whatever way feels right for you... and never apologize for it. Happy Monday, Ladies. 🤍 P.S. I linked the beauty tools/products I use so you can shop my routine. No gatekeeping, remember? 😉
