We’re calling this the parlor. Or the lounge. Or my office. Or the front room. Whatever ends up sticking. I’ve been debating the purpose and personality of this room since we found this house. Slowly, it’s become a mix of high and low. Goodwill, estate sales, antique shops, Pottery Barn, designer pieces, and a couple HomeGoods finds. One of my favorite parts of decorating is collecting things over time and letting a room evolve naturally. Sometimes that means letting a room feel unfinished.
