Watching my baby battle her first cold was so hard. Not being able to make it go away and watching her be so uncomfortable was a powerlessness I hate to feel. There were a bunch of things that I COULD do to help her feel a little more comfortable and these are them… 1. @boogiewipes saline nose wipes. These are gentle on her nose and also provide some relief from dryness. 2. A good humidifier to keep her passageways moist (sorry to use that word) and try to help keep her lungs clear. We love out @levoitlifestyle one! 3. A sippy cup she likes using. Which in our case, is this @munchkininc no spill straw one! We kept it near at all times and she took sips of it throughout the day. Hydration is so important especially since her appetite was down and she had a low grade fever on and off. 4. The @grownsy_official nasal aspirator is so easy to use and actually sucks works. She doesn’t love have her boogies sucked but this aspirator allows us to work quick and effectively. 5. Breastmilk ice pop makers! You can put anything in these - I did some breastmilk and some coconut milk. Good for when they’re eating less and uncomfortable. 6. One of the greatest inventions - the @boogiewipes saline mister! She was so intrigued by it and had fun using it. I also caught her cold and used it on myself! sickremedies babystruggles momstruggles parenting momtips sickbaby LTKKids LTKFamily LTKBaby
