Built it. Broke it. Brought it back better. I cracked this desk during install (cue the slow-mo horror music), and for a while I thought that was the end of my masterpiece. But then I found the fix: countertop epoxy. I mixed up a batch, swirled in some marble-inspired magic, and what started as a total fail turned into one of my favorite surfaces in the house. The texture, the shine, the save—it’s giving high-end, not high-stress. Sometimes the mess-ups are just setups for the glow-up.
