Sharing all the details from my primary bathroom — this space is truly all about the little things.

I went with unlacquered brass throughout. I love the beauty of it and how it naturally ages over time. That patina adds so much character and depth in a way that just feels right.

Paired it with rich wood tones and a marble topped vanity — you already know my love for materials that age naturally and tell a story. It all just gets better with time.

The mocha and white diamond checker flooring brings in warmth while still feeling timeless. And the picture frame molding adds that layer of charm that makes the whole space feel more custom and finished.

Lighting was a big focus too — brass sconces with linen shades for that soft, cozy glow, and the milky glass chandelier over the tub that gives the prettiest light when it’s on.

I’m always drawn to spaces that focus on the details — even down to the dimmers and toggle switches. It’s those small touches that make everything feel complete.

Our coffee bar gets used daily.. multiple times a day — and it’s easily one of my favorite spots in our home.

I love the design just as much as the function. The rich white oak cabinetry, the unlacquered brass details that will patina over time, and the custom shelving all make this space feel so warm and intentional.

But my favorite purchase in here? Our espresso machine. Hands down.
It’s one of those things that felt like a splurge at first, but it has truly paid for itself.

We’re making quality coffee at home every single day and saving so much by skipping the constant coffee runs. I also love how the stainless steel blends right in with the mixed metals — it doesn’t feel out of place at all, just adds to that layered, collected look I’m always going for.

Cabinet species + stain: My cabinets are white oak. A local company custom-matched the color starting with a blend inspired by Minwax Aged Barrel and Simply White. The ratio was close to 4:1, with Simply White being the dominant tone.

Countertops: Calacatta Borghini Extra, 2 cm, honed from @surfaceproviders.

Paint color: Benjamin Moore Simply White.

Prep kitchen cabinet color: Also Benjamin Moore, in Swiss Coffee.

Coffee bar railing details: Just like my hardware, the rails are unlacquered brass and I sourced them from Etsy.

Flooring: Shaw Floorte Pro Paladin Plus in Marina.

Why we kept LVP over hardwood: This is what came with the house, and it didn’t feel worth switching everything out. But honestly, LVP tends to hold up really well for everyday life—especially with kids and dogs. It’s more resistant to scratches, moisture, and general wear compared to hardwood, which made it the practical choice for this season of life.

Our coffee bar might be one of our most used spots — okay, maybe not the most used, but we’re here multiple times a day.

Splurging on our espresso machine was one of the best decisions we’ve made. It makes such quality coffee, and we’re saving money with fewer trips to the coffee shop.

This space was all about the details: the rich wood cabinetry and the unlacquered brass that will patina over time, making it feel even more timeless. Sharing all the details, plus a few look for less options.

Spring living room refresh with a focus on quality over quantity!

I started with a simple floral swap — these wild berry, plum, and soft blue stems bring in just enough color while still feeling calm and collected. It’s always the easiest way to shift a space for a new season without changing the foundation.

I also added a new table lamp with the prettiest texture and neutral tones. Lighting is one of those pieces that instantly elevates a room, and this one feels timeless.

A few forever favorites in this space. My neutral rug from the Molly collection. It gives that vintage look I love but is incredibly durable for real life. And my sofa is actually a sectional (I just have the extra pieces stored away right now), which I love for the flexibility. The best part.. all of the covers are 100% washable, which makes it feel as practical as it is beautiful.

It’s the mix of intentional, quality pieces with small seasonal updates that keeps a space feeling fresh without starting over.

Light and airy teen bedroom with the sweetest pops of pink. Emma had three must-
haves: her kitty (you’ll spot photos styled throughout), pink tones, and all the ruffles— so we leaned into that while still keeping the space timeless.

When designing a room for a growing teen, I always think about pieces that can evolve with them. We chose a slightly moodier upholstered bed that will hold up to everyday life (and the inevitable makeup phase), while still feeling soft and elevated layered with ruffles and cozy textiles.

One of my favorite details is the desk moment doubling as a vanity. The mirror has built in LED lighting around the frame, which makes it just as functional as it is pretty. Perfect for getting ready, studying, and everything in between. Paired with the striped chair, it adds just enough personality without overwhelming the space!

A mix of quality staples with a few playful accents makes this a room she can grow into, not out of.

When we first toured this house, it was down to the studs — a true blank canvas. But the location immediately felt right. We were in a season of wanting something new, and honestly, we’ve never felt more at home than we do here.

I knew going into it that this wouldn’t be an overnight transformation. It would take time, patience, and a lot of hands-on work. But I also knew we could turn it into something really special.

Since moving in (fall 2024), we’ve taken on more projects than I can count — and I’ve learned so much along the way. Some of the hardest DIYs I’ve ever done, but also the most rewarding.
