It was so nice soaking in some ocean 🌊 air and the beautiful sunshine ☀️ in Dana Point. I wanted to check out this 📍Bluff Top trail and it did not disappoint! The view was gorgeous and I loved the arches and the bridge along the way. There are some stairs so be careful with littles and this also means it’s not stroller friendly. It is a short trail but definitely something to add to your trip to Dana Point. Baby beach is very close by as well as some beautiful shops and eateries so you can make a day of it. The ocean institute is also very close by which is open on weekends.

Of course @the.adventure.buddy came along for the fun!

The girls wanted to match today. I originally bought these for Legoland but they never made it in time. They’re still super cute though.

We tried these Magic Gel Water Pets today and they were such a hit! 🧪✨

The kit came with everything we needed, which made it super easy to set up. The kids had so much fun designing their little pets and watching them come to life. And once they’re done… they’re the weirdest, squishiest little creations. 😂

I love activities like this because it’s science and sensory play mixed together and it keeps the kids engaged without screens.

If you’re looking for a cleaner mascara, I’m seriously loving the Well People Expressionist pro curl mascara.

I love that they have a vegan formula but what I really love, is how well this mascara performs! It’s makes my lashes look longer, lifted and separated with no clumps!

Another thing I noticed after wearing this mascara all day is that my eyes aren’t burning at the end of the day like they were with other mascaras. That alone is a major win for me.

Safe to say…..I might just be switching to this mascara from now on.

I love e.l.f. products and these definitely did not disappoint. I love using the Bright+ Brewtiful eye cream daily because this momma definitely pulls late nights and is non-stop all day/night mothering or working on her own projects.
The Holy Hydration cream and the thirst burst toner I gave to my teenaged daughter's who struggles with sensitive skin and dryness. These products have worked wonderfully for her skin and helped to keep her face well moisturized without being greasy and to minimize the breakouts.

I can’t believe February is already wrapping up 🥹💕 It has been such a full, celebration-packed month over here!

You know we’re always here for play doh fun… but when you can sneak in real learning while they think they’re just playing? That’s a win 🙌 Especially for my kindergartner who thrives with hands-on activities.

Trying out this heat protecting spray from Aussie. I love the smell. I did notice it kinda made it harder for the flat iron to go over my hair. Other than that, it was great!

The flat iron/curling iron I use is now my favorite! I actually bought for my 14 year old daughter but I use it too and I guess I should just buy myself one at this point.

My daughter loves art and trying new art projects. Skillmatics never disappoints with their engaging and well made kid’s activities. My daughter loved that you could make these into keychains or ornaments to hang up around the house. It is easy to do and so fun to watch each one puff up with the water.

Love a good sensory play. Now we have a great place to play with sensory items like rice and play dough plus a great place to do messy art where there’s enough space for both kids to play and a spot that can contain the mess a little better. The stand for this tuff tray is also adjustable so it can grow with them. It’s a little pricey but definitely worth buying and something that will be used for years as there are endless uses for this tray/table.

I did make my own rice using beet root powder and lemon juice to dye the rice.

The weather has been warm and sunny here in California but we live a little further inland so beach days are often far and few between so we brought the beach to us.

I had some over ripe bananas so knew I had to make some banana bread. Then, I saw my little heart molds and thought, “Why don’t I make some heart shaped muffins?”. So, I did and the came out perfectly!!!

Recipe:

Here's a quick banana chocolate bread recipe:
• Mash 3 ripe bananas and mix with 1/3 cup melted butter.
• Add 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 egg, and 1 tsp vanilla extract.
• Stir in 1 tsp baking soda, a pinch of salt, and 1 cup flour.
• Fold in 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
• Sprinkle in som cinnamon.
• Pour into greased heart molds and bake at 350°F for 17 minutes or until toothpick comes out of center clean.
Cool before slicing and serving.

My mall haul. I don’t often shop in person, especially not for myself so this was a rare treat. I was in definite need of clothes and a new lipgloss and perfume for myself since my girls always take all my stuff. I also got a free birthday gift from @Sephora !

I love that @American Eagle Outfitters has different length pants too. The short length is perfect for me.
Used to go to Old Navy all the time for kids clothes especially. Went in for gifts for a child’s birthday party we were invited to and wound up with stuff for my kiddos too.
