Book Review: Huckleberry Hill by Emma Slate ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Huckleberry Hill pulled me in from the very first page with its emotional depth, small-town charm, and undeniable chemistry between Declan and Hadley. Emma Slate has a way of writing characters that feel real and raw—flawed but full of heart—and this story was no exception. I loved watching Declan and Hadley navigate their complicated past and uncertain future, especially with the added twist of an unexpected pregnancy. Their connection felt genuine and tender, and I couldn’t get enough of the sweet, quiet moments between them. That said, I really wish this book was longer! I found myself wanting more of Declan and Hadley’s journey—especially during the pregnancy. I would have loved to see how they bonded through that experience and grew even closer. This book left me feeling warm and wanting more, and I absolutely cannot wait to read the next installment in the series. Emma Slate, you’ve got me hooked!
