My closet (and shopping habits) is divided up into one main category and two sub categories.

Category: Timeless
a. Staples b. Pieces

a. Staples: think… Bodysuits. (Zara never fails me) Well made perfect fitting tshirts (James Perse is my go-to). Denim jeans (Levi’s are my fav). Leather jacket. Classic fitting blazer. (Anine Bing for me) Lots of neutrals in black, tans, whites and browns. Articles of clothing that are no-brainers. You can dress down or up and always feel like your best self in them.

b. Pieces: think… a little louder. Maybe shiny. A studded vest. A sparkly kimono. Big jewelry. Feathers… fur… pick your vibe. Something that is maybe one of a kind or special in some way. Articles of clothing that make a statement and bring life to an outfit. Something you get stopped on every time you wear it.

They’re both timeless. I rarely buy anything in between.
And that’s how I manage my clothing and shopping habits.

First Saturday night out in 2025. Yee haw.
