Layers on layers for the Grabd Canyon today. I layered my cashmere sweatshirt with my puffer vest and then puffer coat. It makes for such a beautiful monochromatic look and a great way to dress for this Arizona weather.

TOUR GUIDE: We did book a jeep tour but I was disappointed that it didn’t give us any unique access. You can easily drive your own car around and stop at lookout points and read the signage about the history. I appreciated her background info but I didn’t love being stuck in a car with other guests and not able to move about on our own timing. Save the money and drive yourself ☑️

Wow. Just wow. 100% worth it! We visited Navajo land and took a canyon tour and it was just stunning.
I got tons of questions about my quilted pullover and so I tagged the ones I love here.

TOUR DETAILS
We booked Roaming Navajo and did the upper canyon, prime time tour (morning) for the best light. Our guide was super helpful, spacing people and showing us the best photo spots.

TOUR DETAILS:
We booked the Lake Powell Xperience and Shawn was our driver. We had a private boat tour for two hours. We brought our own food and drinks and it was definitely a favorite. Gorgeous views and such an experience.

We have traveling down to a science (at least I’d like to think so).
We have invested in Rimowa of all sizes over the last decade- from anniversaries to birthdays - we use celebrations as a reason to add to our collection.
My favorite ones are the trunk and the salsa carryon - I use those the most.
I also think that if you have to check a bag, you might as well get the biggest one. Why limit yourself if you can’t carry on anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️
For the kids, they have matching luggage. And then finally, we have a waterproof tote swim bag!

It’s go day! Packed up and ready for spring break.
The kids used their new toiletry bags for the first time - which are a wonderful size and fit sunscreen, hairbrush and accessories, toothbrush and paste (and all of the other random things kids love to stuff into bags).
