Yes, my man loved on me the way a woman should be loved on.

But this GRWM?

This was about me.

There’s something about sitting in a hotel room, doing my hair, blending my makeup, setting up my camera, creating just because I love to create… that hits different. That’s the kind of love that doesn’t depend on anybody showing up. That’s self-love. That’s self-connection.

It feels good to be adored.

But it feels even better to adore yourself.

To pour into your beauty.

To romanticize your own life.

To take up space.

To create content because it lights you up.

Motherhood is beautiful.

Partnership is beautiful.

But the woman I am outside of those roles? She deserves celebration too.

This time last year, I thought I’d already be at my postpartum goal weight.

I’m not quite there yet — but I’m close, and more importantly, I haven’t stopped showing up for myself.

Instead of fighting my body for not matching a timeline I made in my head, I’m learning how to move with it. To respect the process. To trust what consistency looks like over time.

Postpartum forced me to reexamine beauty, patience, and the way I talk to myself when progress isn’t instant. Some days are still hard. Some days my body feels unfamiliar.

But I’m no longer stuck — I’m actively becoming.

The focus has shifted from shrinking to sustaining.
From rushing to rebuilding.
From punishment to care.

This season of beauty looks intentional.
It looks like wellness that supports my life, not consumes it.
It looks like choosing discipline and gentleness while I finish what I started.

I’m reaching my goal — and I’m not giving up on myself now.

I don’t have eyebrows — alopecia universalis took them.

But baby… it did not take my love for beauty 💄✨

No brows just means I get to be more intentional, more artistic, and honestly? More skilled with my products.

I don’t use beauty to “hide” I use it to express.

To experiment. To play. To remind myself that beauty isn’t about what’s missing, it’s about what you do with what you’ve got.
