Funny story, on my run the other morning I saw a mom walking her kid to school in this exact outfit formula oversized crewneck + soft barrel pants + she had an easy, minimal walking shoe paired with. Three fall essentials, but the details matter:
1. A comfy flannel - must be oversized, must be buttery soft (not rigid, not itchy). Bonus points for a wider/flowy body.
2. Sweatpants - not just any, but one with a modern shape you don’t think twice about wearing out and about in public. These are not your grubbiest college sweats you refuse to get rid of, these are luxurious fleece sweats you want to live in.
3. A slip-on clog. Anything goes, as long as it’s comfy!
