So happy with my silk press. The chi at home kit left my hair so silky and soft. I paired it with the design essentials agave blow dry spray which I do love and trust for added heat protection. However all of these products together did cause some stiffness SO I will not be doing that again. Now curling my hair is the most fun and I love how big my Conair curling iron is, but I need a good setting spray. Overall, 8/10. In the future I would only use the shampoo and conditioner from chi and stick to my design essentials blow dry spray and add my fave heat protectant while I press with my babyliss. My mom made me a period bag when I was a little girl, and it gave me something every young girl deserves: confidence. Because of her, I never felt ashamed, confused, or unprepared when my cycle started. I knew it was natural, something to care for, not something to hide.

Now I get to continue that tradition for my twins. Creating these period bags is my way of gifting them confidence, preparation, and a reminder that their bodies are nothing to be embarrassed about. This is intentional motherhood for me, preparing them before the moment comes so they feel safe, ready, and supported.

First time trying the flipped style and I am actually obsessed with how soft, feminine, and polished it looks. This look was inspired by @caittheegreat__ , but I added my own twist while still being mindful of my healthy hair journey.

Right now I am in a season of enjoying my hair again. I am styling it, using heat wisely, protecting my strands, and choosing products that keep my hair smooth, hydrated, and protected from humidity.

Strutting into fall with this cute and easy protective style using the new @Outre Bohemian Curl. If you love lightweight, carefree, tension-free hairstyles, then this one is def for you.

The bohemian curl comes in 30” which I love because when you fold it in half you’re still left with waist length twists that don’t need you to feed in hair.

Hey girl hey! What’s good?! I’m slowly creeping back onto the social scene 👀 hope you don’t mind me taking my time.

I know a lot of content creators have their golden to-do list and took off full speed, but that’s not what I’m about at all. Mkay!

I made up my mind April 2022 that I was going to be intentional about Abiding in Christ. You know, slowing down to hear from Him regularly and all the things.

So here we are in 2023 walking in faith by patiently waiting on Him and Trusting Him with all the details.

Starting with creating heaven down goals (see slide #3 from @melody.alisa) and slowing down to partner with God in how I run my life and business. GIRL some days are definitely easier than others…

I decided not to set a list of goals based on what I want and my ambition, and to instead pray to seek Gods heart for me. He reminded me of John 15:7-8 which lets me know my life mission needs to be to Abide and bear fruit.

So expect a lot of new moves and to hear so much more of my voice this year. I had to take some time last year to build in silence and get to know me. Now it’s go time 📸 and I hope you’re ready!

I’ve thought of recording my journey of the process of how I’m going about making my schedule, goals, and initiatives alongside God.
