melasma - What finally cleared my melasma was Obagi Nu-Derm Clear (prescription hydroquinone) mixed with tretinoin. I’ll also link my favorite non-prescription option—it just works more gradually. If you have melasma, wear a tinted sunscreen with iron oxides every day. Iron oxides help block visible light, which has been shown to worsen pigmentation, especially in darker or melasma-prone skin. Avoiding excess heat and direct sun is just as important, since both can trigger melanocytes and cause flare-ups.

• neck routine — silicone neck patches overnight (this is the real game changer), a neck cream linked below, and the biggest thing: whatever treatments you’re doing on your face, do them on your neck too. don’t stop at your jawline. And don’t forget sunscreen every single day.

• skin protocol — start microneedling now. If you can, do it at least 4x a year. Get a laser or chemical peel done 1x a year. Avoid filler but look into sculptra. Use tretinoin consistently. Start using growth factors and peptides. (Linked my faves)
