I’m 42. i’d be lying if I said, I wake up like this. what it takes for me to look like I didn’t do much:

1. IPL (1x/year) — erases evidence of my 20s
2. Lip blush (every 3 years) — so I don’t look recently deceased
3. Microneedling + PDGF (4x/year) — makes my skin insanely glow
4. Lip filler (every 3 years) — just a little bit to fill in the lines
5. Skin stamping (1x/week) — because I want my expensive products to actually penetrate
6. Body exfoliation (1x/week) — duh
7. Dermaplaning (1x/week) — makeup goes on so much smoother
8. Botox (every 3–4 months) — for the lines I earned
9. Laser hair removal (every 2–3 weeks) —
one less thing on my weekly list of problems
10. Self tanner (1x/week) — because everyone looks skinnier with a tan
11. Hydrating mask (1–2x/week) — pretending I drink enough water
12. Teeth composite (once + maintenance) — completely changed my smile
13. Red light (4x/week) — boosts collagen and calms inflammation aka skin looks better
14. Nails (every 3 weeks) — so at least my hands look responsible
15. CO2 laser (2x/year) — the reset button for texture, lines, and sun damage
16. Sculptra (4x/year) —long game collagen so I age a little less aggressively
17. Hormone therapy (every 3 months) —
balancing things out so I feel like myself again
18. Scalp treatment (4x/year) — because thinning hair was not the plan
19. Teeth whitening (1x/year) — bc who doesn’t want their teeth to be celebrity white
20. Extensions (every 3 months) — without them, I have toddler hair
21. Eyebrow tattoo (every 2 years) —permanently solving a daily inconvenience
