So I was watching this thing about Bryan Johnson, the guy from “Don’t Die”. (he’s all about reverse aging) One of the things he does every day is uses a water flosser and I was like OK well, I need to try this if he uses it. I’m actually horrified that I’ve only started using this. I always thought I was really great at flossing and dental hygiene in general until I realized what the water flosser does.

I’m not gonna lie, I don’t wake up, looking like Cinderella🥴 I actually have to work it🙄
UNDEREYES:
for the under eyes, I use that balm and then I apply just a little bit of concealer at the inner corners of my eyes and then I blend it out with a brush. Then I use the beauty blender to blend out any creases. You must do this before you set with powder or you will be setting the creases. Then I use the dry sponge, dab it in the powder, but then rub the powder into the sponge on the back of my hand and then dot underneath my eyes. That’s key!

I haven’t loved a pair of sunglasses this much in a while. They’re just such a cool shape. I found them for u half of what I paid in store. 🫠I love that they’re not completely dark so you can wear them on cloudy days as well and you can even wear them indoors. I’m wearing a medium in the Zara windbreaker. I only got this a couple weeks ago and I have already worn it so much. It’s so so good. It has shoulder pads. The ones with the fringe on the side are almost practically sold out everywhere. I did find a few random sizes left. And pre-order on REVOLVE. However, the ones with the tassels at the ankle are still in stock at some places. If you love them, I would move quickly though, because I guarantee you they will sell out like the other ones.

I hope the balloon pant trend doesn’t end anytime soon. They’re like wearing PJs. These are so affordable. They are sheer, but I just wear a nude thong underneath. It blends in with the color of the pants. Top is from target and so comfortable, love that is not clingy. A size down one size in the pants.

1. Some friendships are only meant for a season. Keeping them alive out of history is exhausting.
2. Looking “high maintenance” usually means doing a lot of maintenance when nobody is looking.
3. You don’t have to age naturally just because someone else thinks you should. Do the Botox. Don’t do the Botox. Just stop letting strangers make the decision.
4. Stop waiting until you have wrinkles to start treating your skin like you don’t want wrinkles.
5. Muscle is the closest thing I’ve found to a cheat code for getting older.
6. You will waste years waiting to feel ready. Ready is mostly something you realize you were afterward.
7. Looking expensive is a formula. Once you figure it out, getting dressed gets a whole lot easier.
8. You can be grateful for your life and still want more from it.
9. You can change your face, your body, your clothes, your career—or your entire fucking life. You don’t owe anyone consistency.
10. Your 40s aren’t the beginning of becoming invisible. Mine have been the exact f*cking opposite.

MY FORMULA FOR LOOKING EXPENSIVE
* Fit matters more than the label
* Keep the base simple: great tee/tank + jeans or trousers
* Add structure with a blazer or jacket
* A good belt makes basic jeans look instantly better
* Mix inexpensive basics with a nicer shoe or bag
* Choose fabrics that hold their shape over thin, clingy ones
* Steam your clothes. Wrinkles will ruin a good outfit fast.
* If the fit is almost right, tailor it or don’t buy it
* And when all else fails: a quality button-up, straight-leg jeans, a good belt + boots. Bonus points for a sweater thrown over your shoulders. It works every time.

SKIN — what I’m glad I started early
* Retinoid — fine lines + collagen
* Vitamin C — brightness + pigmentation
* Daily SPF — prevention, always
* Red light — redness + glow
* Peptides/growth factors — extra anti-aging support
* Botox — I’d rather prevent deeper expression lines than chase them later
* Microneedling — collagen + texture
